Guangzhou Oversea Chinese Scholars Chamber of Commerce (GZOCSCC)
A Brief Introduction
Sponsored by a group of returned overseas Chinese scholars and the successful entrepreneurs, GZOCSCC was founded in 2002. Special thanks should be given to Guangzhou Municipal Government and Guangzhou Administrative Center for Oversea Scholars, for their compassionate support and assistance. GZOCSCC is the first non-profit organization for returned overseas Chinese scholars in China and has become a family for thousands of returned overseas Chinese scholars in Guangzhou.
The goals of GZOCSCC are seeking the benefits for the members and the mutual recognition for the society. With country’s rapid development, GZOCSCC voluntary undertakes the responsibility of solidifying oversea return scholars. Through this platform, GZOCSCC will actively attend native constructions, each commercial meetings and exchange activities. Synchronously, to expanding large and significant exchanges which are organized by other Non-Governmental organizations, carrying out “a harmonious” Guangzhou.
GZOCSCC is a platform for information, academic and emotional exchange. Also with pleasure assists oversea return scholars to adapt local acculturate and acquaint the situation of China so as to utilizing their knowledge and abilities. At the same time, GZOCSCC aims at members’ specialties established 5 specialty committees and as to be a basis to developing pertinence activities.
Tenet of GZOCSCC
“Self-conscious, self-discipline, self-struggle”, presidents and directors will undertake the obligations and responsibilities. Enterprise members must be self-discipline and should not occur any economy profits with GZOCSCC directly. Under nation’s developing, different industries and circumstances，all members should maintain and develop a spirit which is constantly strive to become stronger.
Positioning of GZOCSCC
- A bridge platform function: Through cohesion returned oversea Chinese scholars’ circumstances and notions to cooperate with government and native constructions. To becoming a dialogue bridge with government and the world.
- A solidarity function: Through the 5 specialty committees as a management framework for effective cohesion.
- A cooperation function: To promoting unity among enterprises’ resources, achieving mutual interaction among them.
